WELCOME

Georgian Technical University, Akaki Tsereteli State University are pleased to invite to the International Economic Conference - IEC 2015 "National Models of the Economic Development: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow", October 16-17, 2015, in Tbilisi, Georgia.

AIM AND STRUCTURE

Aim of the conference is to discuss theoretical issues and practical experience in technology transfer and innovation through various industry clusters.The conference brings together the administrators, managers, researchers and professional from high schools, research think tanks, business companies, governmental structures and nongovernmental institutions to provide comprehensive platform to share ideas and experiences. 

CONFERENCE TOPICS

1. The Main Directions of the Economic Sectors Development (Alternative Energy, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Informatics, Mining – Geology, Communications, Construction, Architecture, Design, Transportation, etc.);
2. The Modern Problems of Social Sector (Health Care, Education, Insurance, etc.);
3. Agricultural Sector Development Strategies;
4. Modern Problems of Real Estate Management;
5. Tourism - One of the Most Important Sectors of the National Economy;
6. Business Process Management (Business - Engineering); Problems of the Modern Marketing;
7. Banking, Accounting and Auditing;
8. Investments and Innovations and their Commercialization. Free Economic Zones and Techno-Parks;
9. Modern Problems of Economic Theory;
10. Modern Aspects of Higher Education (Financing, Internationalization, Modern Teaching Methods and so on.);
11. Law and Policy for the National Economic Development;
12. Political, historical, Philosophical, Sociological and Psychological Aspects of the National Economic Development.

Conference Languages: Georgian, English and Russian.

Othere days are days of networking and post-conference target meetings. 

ARTICLE SUBMISSION

Guidelines for writing an article:

1. Maximum number of pages: 5 pages, format - A4
- Font: „Times New Roman“', size - 10, interval - 1.5
- Upper and lower margins - 2.5 cm, left margin - 3 cm, right margin - 1.5 cm,
Indent - 1.25 cm, graphs, charts, and photographs - MS Word
2. Text Structure:
- First and last name;
- Article Title;
- Abstract Georgian, English or Russian languages, up to a maximum of 150 words;
- Key words;
- The text;
- References.

POSTER SESSIONS

During the conference there will be the possibility to display posters of scientific papers in the common areas and to answer the questions of attendees during the breaks.

Guidelines for Preparing a Poster Presentation: Presenters will interact with attendees while standing next to their Poster Presentation. Attendees at Poster Presentations will stroll by looking for topics of interest. Presenters need to attract attention with a good topic and a visually interesting presentation. Organization and clarity are critical. A poster presentation should attract people’s interest as they walk by and then be easily reviewed to stimulate a one-to-one discussion with the presenters. The goal is to encourage informed discussion about your research. The poster should be easily readable from 1.5 meters (4 feet) away.

Support: Although we will provide you with tools (adhesive tape, etc.) for hanging your poster, it is recommended that you bring your own materials as a back up.

Format: There will also be other authors with their poster presentations in the gallery. For that reason, we encourage you to avoid exceeding the dimensions of a 50 cm width and 80 cm high and hang your posters vertically.
Type of letter, font and size: We recommend using the following font and font size: Type of font: Arial – Title: At least 36 points. – Headings: 30 points or more. – Text: At least 24 points.
Other recommendations: We recommend you to use illustrations, schemas and graphics so that your presentation can be more attractive. 

Poster - presentation fee - 20 EUR.
 

REGISTRATION DETAILS

Conference fee - 50 Euros (+VAT ) per person. Registration fee includes: paper publication in the scientific journal "Business - Engineering", conference program, a name badge, certificate, coffee-break. For participants who want to be invited in Banquet Party ought to pay 30 EUR. All conference participants will receive a certificate
