12th international conference DisCo 2017: Towards open education and information society will be organised between 20.-22. 6. 2016 by the Centre for Higher Education Studies and Department of Information Science and Librarianship at Faculty of Arts of Charles University. Dear scholars, We would like to focus your attention on the conference DisCo 2017. Its main topic this year is: Open education as a way to a knowledge society. The conference takes place in Microsoft in Prague on June 26 - 27, 2017. You can find more information in the attached Call for Papers. Thanks to the support from CEI 15 chosen speakers from CEI countries (Albania, Austria, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Italy, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Ukraine) will have travel reimbursement up to 330 Euro covered. DisCo 2016, 2015 proceedings have already been indexed in THOMSON REUTERS Web of Science (https://apps.webofknowledge.com/) database. Older proceedings have still been undergoing a process of evaluation. We would like to introduce you our 3 keynote speakers - Petra Aczél, full professor and the head of Institute of Behavioral Science and Communication Theory at Corvinus University of Budapest and Anastasia Syzenko, assistant professor from National Taras Schevchenko University in Kiev, Ukraine and Piet Kommers, Honorary professor of UNESCO, from University of Twente, the Netherlands.
